TIM FITZHIGHAM - THE GAMBLER
A show about the 10 greatest bets in history

Multi award-winning comedian, adventurer and world record holder FitzHigham has lots of bad ideas (he rowed the English Channel in a bathtub). Now, inspired by centuries-old bets, recorded in the betting books of revered gentlemen’s clubs, Tim attempts:
Pushing a wheelbarrow 25 miles, in a bet with Top Gear’s Richard Hammond (as first attempted by Goliath Shadbolt in 1789)
Standing on one leg for 12 hours (a bet from the year 1815)
Cycling from London to Dover before his friend can draw a million dots
Racing a racehorse over 100 yards (yes, he races a racehorse)
Walking backwards for 30 miles and other death-defying feats….

‘Gut Bustingly funny’  ***** The Scotsman
‘FitzHigham utterly immerses himself into the tasks making him a brilliantly compelling, fired up guide…..My it is funny’ Chortle *****
‘Tim FitzHigham is unhinged. He is completely without hinges’ Eddie Izzard
‘Well done for keeping British eccentricity well and truly alive’ Sir Ranulph Fiennes
‘Consistently hilarious. All in all the perfect English eccentric’ Dara O Briain

Sam Simmons’: Not A People Person

Winner Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award 2015
Winner Barry Award 2015 Melbourne International Comedy Festival

From the brain that brought you millionaire cats eating Viennetta, gypsy cuddles and nanna wanks, comes a brand spanking new hour of mind blending internal self-hatred, paranoia and comedy – because you have to put comedy in it.
Years just don’t get any bigger than Sam Simmons’ 2015. He won the two biggest awards in live comedy and sold out runs at every major comedy festival.
‘If you can imagine someone combining the rage of Basil Fawlty with the lunacy of Spike Milligan you are getting somewhere close to Simmons’ -  The Evening Standard
‘Exhaustingly funny, daft and truly daring’ - *****  Timeout
‘It's not just weird, it's wonderful too’ - **** Chortle
‘One of the most riotously enjoyable hours at the Fringe’ - **** The Independent
‘A breath of fresh air; in a sea of increasingly bland stand-up’ - **** The Guardian
