This show barely needs any introduction. For me, a gig like this embodies the Tringe Festival. Two of the most brilliant comics, previewing their new shows in front of the usual warm and receptive Tringe crowd. I can't wait for this one!

Whoa. Momma. The 'ballsiest audience-interactor on the Fringe' (Telegraph) and 2011 Edinburgh Comedy Award winner returns with a brand new hour of rip-roaring faff.

'Brilliantly funny... like playtime on cocaine' ***** (Chortle.co.uk).
'One of the most exciting comedians to be in a room with' (Times).
‘There's no-one else quite like him’ ***** (Independent).
‘A triumph of cunningly crafted, high-energy character comedy’ ***** (Time Out).
‘Will make you laugh yourself silly and what could be better than that?’ ***** (Telegraph). ***** (Scotsman).

Spencer Jones - Herbert in Proper Job.jpgSpencer Jones: Audition

This work in progress show is about doing a kind of play. But with routines within it.  So there will be props and music. Don't worry. I'm 88% sure I haven't disappeared up my own arse. There will be a story.  All set in a bedsit. A story about a man (me) playing a man (Herbert) who is worried about an audition (Job interviews for dickheads). So that's the big idea. I've no idea how it will pan out. So make sure there's nothing else on at the same time you fancy seeing. Lots of love Spencer xxx

As seen on Live At The Apollo (BBC Two), Sky’s Spencer Jones’ Christmas, BBC Three’s Uncle, and BBC One’s Upstart Crow

"No other Tringe show will put a bigger smile on your face?" **** Evening Standard

"Only those with the stoniest of hearts could fail to fall for The Herbert." **** The List
