Friday 13th July
The Court Theatre, Tring
Starts 8.00pm (Doors 7.15pm)
LAST MINUTE CHANGE - Helen Duff has replaced the originally scheduled The Travelling Sisters due to illness.
This event is sold out.
Direct from an 80-date tour of the UK and Ireland, Reginald D Hunter presents a preview of his highly anticipated new show. He returns to Edinburgh Festival in August to celebrate 20 years at the Fringe.
Reginald’s searingly honest material has garnered him a cross-generational fan base. His TV appearances have included Have I Got News For You, and the hugely popular BBC Two series Reginald D Hunter’s Songs Of The South documenting Reginald’s epic road trip through 150 years of American popular song.
‘Stand-up comedy’s coolest customer’ (Telegraph).
‘Comedy of a rare scope’ ***** (Times).
Whip-smart stream-of-consciousness comedy from 'master of shamelessly silly yet socially conscious clowning' **** (BroadwayBaby.com), Helen Duff. Duff dives to 'a level of intimacy most acts wouldn't dare' **** (Skinny) and 'it's a joy to behold' **** (EdFestMag.com). 'Bold, subversive and very funny... a formidable comic' **** (Scotsman) slips beneath the skin of standard storytelling to explode paradigms with paint gun precision. As seen on BBC Three and alongside Will Ferrell in Holmes and Watson. 'Duff is incredibly funny and deserves any and all praise that comes her way' **** (Skinny).
Line up subject to change. We will endeavour to replace acts on a like-for-like basis. In the event of a line up change, you will be offered the option to either reconfirm your order for the altered event, to exchange to a different event or to take a credit note for a future event. Due to the preview nature of the event, refunds will not be available.
