    Matt Forde

A former political adviser, Matt isn't a typical twenty-something; a passionate, opinionated and excitable young man he loves football, ‘Prime Minister's Questions’ and pasties. Either “a shameless sycophantic sell-out with a jelly spine and a mush mind”, according to one of his listeners, or “a first-class comic” according to The Guardian. He has also gone to extraordinary lengths to get close to both Tony Blair and Brian Clough - and has the pictures to prove it.

As heard on talkSPORT, The News Quiz (Radio 4), The Now Show (Radio 4), 5Live, Al Murray’s Radio 2 Show and 6Music. As seen clock-watching at the Pizza Hut buffet. Matt is also a writer on 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4) and Stand-Up for the Week (Channel 4)

    Phil Wang

It doesn't often happen, but occasionally an act comes along who you know is destined for greatness. This is most definitely the case with our next Berkomedy act - Phil Wang.

Winner of the 2010 Chortle Student Comedian of the Year Award, the Comedy Central Live Funniest Student Award 2011, and the current President of the prestigious Cambridge Footlights, Phil Wang is rapidly making a name for himself as one of Britain’s funniest Engineering undergraduates.

In his brief time here on Earth, Phil has supported acts such as Greg Davies, Kurt Braunohler & Kristen Schaal, and Chris Addison with his dry, deadpan charm and an occasional ukulele.
Phil has appeared as a stand-up guest on The Rob Brydon Show (BBC1), been featured on Three at the Fringe (BBC3) and has enjoyed a fantastic Edinburgh debut as part of the Festival's longest-running stand-up showcase, The Comedy Zone, which has previously launched the careers of Dave Gorman, Harry Hill, Stewart Lee, Al Murray and Chris Ramsey.
