Mad Ron is at odds with the modern World. He delivers his motivational speech to the young. Live life without the menial distractions of work and responsibility. Seize the day, and an armful of contraband on the way. In 1974 Ron could go to the shops with 50p and come home with 3 Mars Bars, a bag of crisps, 4 packets of Polo's, a bottle of Lucozade and a comic. Now there's CCTV all over the place.
Mad Ron – The Third Hardest Man in Uxbridge, is a comedy creation of Steve Lee (a graduate of the Get Stuffed Roving Comedy Course) , first appearing on the comedy circuit back in December 2015. Mad Ron has taken the circuit by storm. Now a multi award winning act, Mad Ron also finished 3rd in the prestigious 2019 NATY’s.
Amid his threatening manner, this unapologetic wrong’un bemoans such new fangled developments as vaping or email, and has amusingly intolerant lines to explain why. It’s a well-constructed, well-practised set providing a dependable, gag-focussed start to the night….. – Steve Bennett (Chortle)
