Sean Hughes

A brilliant night of comedy headlined by Sean Hughes, previous team captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Sean Hughes started his career as a stand-up comedian by becoming the youngest winner of The Perrier Award. Several sell out tours later and two series of Sean’s Show for Channel 4, Sean diversified into writing, presenting and acting. Recently co-starring with Peter Davison in The Last Detective (ITV).

Logan Murray

The evening will be compared by Logan Murray  who, for those that remember last year’s event appeared as the monstrously bitter tired old showbiz hack Ronnie Rigsby. He is acknowledged as one of the best Comedy tutors in the world. Such prominent stars as Rhod Gilbert, Greg Davies, Eddie Izzard and Dominic Holland have been taught by Logan.

Our support acts are:

Carly Smallman

She sings funny songs. Her unique blend of outrageous impropriety and adorable sincerity has established her as a firm favourite on the comedy circuit. Carly has appeared doing stand-up on ‘The Rob Brydon Show’, was a regular cast member for hidden camera show ‘Secret Interview’, moaned about irritating individuals on ‘The Most Annoying People’, and criticised people’s life choices on ‘The Top 50 Plastic Surgery Shockers’. Carly has also written and performed sketches for BBC Comedy Online, and has been heard on ‘What’s So Funny’ with Rufus Hound.

Olaf Falafel

A unique mixture of one-liners and Scandinavian-tinged stories has earned Olaf the purely fictitious title of ‘Sweden’s eighth funniest comedian’. His recent exploits include supporting the equally moustachioed Tony Law and managing to beat the Comedy Store’s infamous Gong.
