Our 3rd Christmas Party will be a fantastic unmissable event. Following on from Idiots of Ants and Late Night Gimp Fight in 2011, then the Horne Section in 2012, the 2013 Christmas Party will be a night to remember.
Alexander Armstrong and Joe Stilgoe will be providing an evening of music and laughter. Imagine amusing songs, great music and funny jokes - if this isn't your thing... 'Humbug!'

Alexander Armstrong is best known for being one half of comedy duo Armstrong and Miller with Ben Miller. He co-starred in four series of Armstrong and Miller from 1997 to 2001 before renewing his partnership with Ben for BAFTA winning The Armstrong and Miller Show in 2007 for three series. Alexander has also turned his hand to straight acting and has starred in numerous TV dramas including Love Life, Life Begins, Mutual Friends and most recently he has appeared in Julia Davis’ new dark comedy Hunderby which recently won two British Comedy Awards. Alexander has hosted popular quiz show Pointless since it began in 2009 alongside other presenting roles including Alexander Armstrong’s Big Ask and Epic Win as well as frequently guest hosting on the BBC's Have I Got News For You. Alexander was most recently seen hosting the second series of Alexander Armstrong’s Big Ask on Dave and has also hosted a pilot for a new panel show for ITV called You Couldn’t Make It Up. This year, he will be seen co-presenting the new and action-filled ITV1 game show Prize Island.
Joe is one of the world's finest singer-pianists, touring constantly with his band and as a solo act, having appeared at Ronnie Scott's, the Royal Festival Hall, The Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Barbican, The London Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Festival, Henley Festival, Barbados Festival, Bestival , Latitude, Sardinia Jazz Festival, Sicily Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Dubai Jazz Festival and in jazz clubs from New York to Berlin to Kuala Lumpur. Last summer he made his solo debut at the Edinburgh Fringe where his show One Hour! was a sell-out and garnered much critical acclaim (5 stars in The Scotsman).
Joe has worked extensively on radio, appearing on the Now Show and The Horne Section for Radio 4, and has been a contributor and special guest with Alan Carr, Michael Parkinson and numerous other Radio 2 programmes including Friday Night Is Music Night. Joe writes songs for many other artists, and gives master-classes across the country in performance and improvisation.
He is a founding member of the hit comedy show, The Horne Section.
Once again, we will be repeating the popular dinner, show and disco option. The evening starts at 6.15pm with a free glass of bubbly on arrival, followed by starters and main, all served as a large buffet spread. The show will start at 8.00pm, and you'll have dessert at the interval (8.50-9.20pm approx). After the 2nd half of the show, there will be a disco. The catering is supplied by local firm, Isalie, run by Claire Garlick.
