Catch a genius double-bill featuring Mark Watson, the Taskmaster legend and prolific storyteller, road-testing his latest "amiable" work-in-progress. He’s paired with the high-octane Adam Flood, whose "multifaceted talent" blends stand-up with big electronic beats. From indie rock to sobriety and glass doors, it’s a night of brilliant, varied comedy!

Taskmaster star and Fringe veteran Mark Watson returns to the Tringe with his latest work-in-progress, Sometimes People Are Being Over-Cautious When They Say Work-In-Progress, But This.
One of the UK’s most prolific voices, Mark is an Edinburgh Panel Prize winner, a Live at the Apollo favorite, and a "Legend of Lockdown."
Beyond his television fame and the cult YouTube hit No More Jockeys, Mark is a celebrated novelist with eight books to his name.
This intimate session offers a first look at his new material centered on the loose theme of standing up for yourself. It’s an unmissable chance to see a comedy legend at work—even if he insists you shouldn't get your hopes too high!

Standup performed over big electronic beats. A show about hedonism and Adam’s vanishing nightlife. ‘It shouldn’t work, but it absolutely does’, Metro. ‘A multifaceted comedy talent', Guardian. As seen on BBC and ITV.
Adam Flood, from Stoke-on-Trent, was once a teenage drug-dealer, then an indie rockstar, now a comedian. In 2025 his debut standup show was released by the BBC. In 2026 he ran, sober, full speed into a closed glass door.
