David Eagle is a member of three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Winning band The Young’uns. In 2018 he branched out into stand up, and within a year he won the New Comedian prizes at Nottingham Comedy Festival, Bath Comedy festival and Leicester square Theatre. He's made multiple appearances on BBC Radio4's flagship comedy The Now Show. David is blind and his stand up often explores how this leads him into many surprising, hilarious encounters and misadventures. Armed with an accordion, he punctuates the jokes and stories with the occasional comedy song, one of which was described in the Guardian as "a comic tour de force."

"Brilliant/nuts. Heartily recommend!" (Rufus Hound)
"David Eagle is a genuine stand up rooky phenomenon" (Reginald D Hunter.)
"just seen the future of stand up comedy and his name is David Eagle" (Boothby Graffoe)"
"Constantly hilarious, gag on gag, leaving an audience gasping in admiration, and applause that goes on for minutes. You’ll be seeing him on Live at the Apollo before long, guaranteed." (Bath Echo)
