Fresh from appearances on Live at the Apollo, A League of Their Own, Mock the Week and The Last Leg, Maisie Adam brings a brand new Work in Progress show to the Tringe Festival, trying out new jokes to find out which ones work and which ones we'll never speak of ever again.

Since winning the nationwide So You Think You’re Funny? competition in 2017, she has won Best New Act at the Chortle Awards and the Amused Moose National New Act gong, as well as being nominated Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe.l for her debut show ‘Vague’.

She followed this up with two more shows; a sold out Edinburgh run of the critically acclaimed ‘Hang Fire’, before embarking on a sold out 63-date tour of her most recent show ‘Buzzed’ which went on to finish with a sold out run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Amy Matthews brings a work in progress version of her latest show to the Tringe Festival.

A shift in lighting casts new shadows. That song you couldn’t stop playing now hurts when it comes on in Tesco. The smell of your high school maths classroom wallops you round the face decades later in the lobby of a hotel abroad. Do things have a place and how do they change if they find themselves in a new one?

Oh and it asks the really big questions, like, “where are all the frogs?” and, “no, like seriously, where are they?”

This is a show about love and home and class from the critically decorated comic.
